Progressive Policy Adopted for Show
There are many magnificent trophies and cash prizes to be won at the Golden Jubilee Show this year, and these should prove an inducement for the best that tho exhibitors can offer. Those who intend to enter stock in the coming exhibition should note that entries in the,so classes close on Thursday. Prizes in the stock exhibit section include twelve magnificent canteens of cutlery, the New Zealand Pig Producers’ Shield, and many other special inducements. The stock classes will be well up to Royal Show’ standard, and should make tho greatest assembly of its nature for years. Other classes are filling remarkably well, and exhibition space is now at a premium. Ample seating accommodation is being provided. in the halls and elsewhere, while arrangements have been made with the City Council to allow those who purchase show tickets on the buses to have free transport to the exhibition. In the grand parade this year dogs will be included, and as a general half-holiday will be observed on tho Friday, all will have an opportunity to be present. ' A plan of tho members’ car jiarking area is now on view at the association’s office, and a stand may be booked for the duration of the show on payment of a small fee. There are 200 convenient stands available. The public parking area also provides excellent, car accommodation for a very small charge, and patrons are urged to take advantage of the excellent facilities at their disposal'.
