Tho “Times” Berlin correspondent says that Cabinet lias passed a new law prohibiting marriages as follows: — Firstly, if one of the parties suffers front an infectious disease which might affect the health of the other or their children.

Secondly, if o'no of the parti sutlers from a mental disturbance or has been certified incapable of managing their own affairs either owing to mental aberration or an incurable tendency to run into debt.

Thirdly, if one of the parties is su fering from an hereditary disease.

It is laid down that before marriage certificates must bo obtained from an appropriate authority that no hindrances exist on any off these grounds. Marriages violating the law are null and void and parties are liable to imprisonment.
