Dalgety and Co., Ltd., report on their usual fortnightly sale on Wednesday, 16th instant, when a small yarding of sheep and pigs and a fair yarding of cattle came to hand. There was a strong demand ia all cattle sections and prices were in vendors’ favour. Quotations: — Weaner pigs, 7s Cd, 10s. Shorn hoggets, 19s 9d. Yearling Jersey heifers, £1 ISs, £2 3s, £3 10s; fat cows, Jersey sorts, £4, £4 10s, £5 10s; fat Ayrshire cows, £8; store cows, 20s, 27s 6d, 30s; dairy cows, £4; springing heifers, £4 7s 6d; pedigree yearling Jersey bulls, 4, 5 and 7gns.; grado yearling Jersey bulls, £3 to £5 ss; grade 2-year Jersey bulls, £4, £4 10s, £5 2s 6d to £5 ss.
