The junction of Onslow with Hutfc road was tne scene of another accident last evening when Mrs. .Myrtle Green, widow, of 34 Garden road, Northland, was knocked down by a motor-cyclist and killed instantaneously. The motorcyclist is in hospital in a fairly serious condition. 1 Ilis name is David Lamont, aged 24 or 25, of Bolton street, Petone. Mrs. Green received a compound fracture of tho skull and a compound fracture of tho upper section of tho left leg as well as injuries to her legs. Lamont was flung from his mount and xcceivcd extor.sivo facial injuries. The accident occurred about 7.30 p.m. Mrs. Green leaves a family of four daughters-
