FEILDING BRANCH MEETING

The mommy meeting of the Teiiding branch of the British Music Society was held on Tuesday evening at the residence of Mr. aud Mrs. J. G. Eliott, Ranfurly avenue, the hostesses for the evening boing Misses A. Page and G. Humphreys. During the supper adjournment, it was announced that the society’s concert, for which a firstclass programme had been arranged, would be presented at the end of the month. The programme rendered comprised: Pianoforto solo, "Invitation to the Waltz” (Weber); "Musical Box,” Miss M. Garrott; vocal solo, "To You Alone” (Gaehl), "The Grey House” (Messager), Mr. E. Bond; pianoforte duet, "2nd Movement, Ist Symphony” (Beethoven), Misses G. Humphreys and T. Gray; vocal ducts, "Venetian Song” (Tosti), "Kew in Lilac Time” (E. Sharpe), Misses E. Taylor and M, Armour; pianoforte solo, "2nd and 4th Movement Sonata T. Minor” .(Beethoven), Miss R. Forward; pianoforte solos, "Nocturne” (Chapin), "Waltz” (Goleridgo Taylor) , .Miss A. Page; G-lee Club: "Little Gipsy Dandelion” (Thomas Dunhiil), "Riding” (Maurice Jacobson), "Hunting Morning,” "April Weather” (Algernon Ashton), 1 ‘ Fairy Queen ’ ’ (Fletcher), - Those present included Air. and Mrs. Eliott, Misses B.
