TO SISTER SMITH A meeting of the Feilding Distress Belief Committee and the former District Nurso Committee was held on Monday afternoon to diseuss whatsteps should bo taken suitably to recognise the services ' which Sister Smith, as district nurse in Feifding,, had carried out in the interests of the community during her nine years’ office in Feilding. It was felt that the public of Feilding would not wish Sister Smith to leave the town without an opportunity to present her with some tangible appreciation of the valuable services she had rendered, and accordingly it was decided to hold a public farewell function at which Sister Smith will be the guest of tho citizens of Feilding.
