“Death at Broadcasting House” is one of the most unique that has yet graced the screen for, as well as unfolding a great mystery story it gives a most intriguing glimpse into the headquarters of the famous British Broadcasting Corporation, one of the most interesting organisations in the world.

And right at tho back of it all this ingenius mystery story guaranteed to keep you baffled right to tho very end. It centres around a radio play in which one of the characters is to be- strangled. At rehearsal he is tho despair of tho producer but at the actual performance he gives an amazingly realistic display. The admiration of his co-players and tho producer turns to horror, however, when rushing in to congratulate him, they find he has been really strangled. Naturally this creates a tremendous sensation for millions of people had heard the broadcast without realising that they had been listening to an actual murder. At least half a dozen persons are suspected and strong circumstantial evidence points guiltily towards one certain individual, but it remains for Inspector Gregory, of Scotland Yard, to unravel the baffling problem and bring the real murderer to justice. /

Tho cast includes lan Hunter, Austin Trevor, Mary Newland and Peter Haddon, while many well-known English radio identities are introduced.
