Injured Cyclist Identified
STILL IN CRITICAL CONDITION. Per Press Association. NELSON, Sopt. 28. It . has been ascertained that the man injured in the motor cycle accident on Thursday was George Fairlie Taylor, about 56 years of age. His permanent address and whereabouts o'f relatives are unknown. Taylor is in hospital in a very critical condition with a broken log and head and internal injuries. Cyclist Killed iii Collision With Taxi WELLINGTON, Sept .2S. John Stewart, of Normandale, was killed on the Ilutt Road at 8 o’clock this morning through a collision with a motor-taxi. Ho was riding a motorcycle on tho correct side of the road, it is stated, and for somo unexplained reason, turned in the taxi’s direction and collided head-on, receiving head injuries, two fractures to ono leg and a fractured arm. A fair amount of damage was done to tho taxi.
