From Our Own Correspondent, Kaitnwa Hockey Ball,

j A jolly crowd attended the annual hookey ball held recently in tho Kaitawa hall which had been artistically decorated with greenery and spring bulbs with hockey sticks arranged around the walls. Popular orchestral music was supplied for the visitors who had come from , all surrounding districts. Extras were kindly rendered by Miss Perry and two members of tho orchestra. Air B. Lett made a popular and capable AI.C. and supper was supplied by a caterer. Dancing continued until the early hours when the enjoyable function closed with the National Anthem. Personal. Following Air S. Boyd's transfer from the Bank of New Zealand, the vacancy has been filled by Air D. Comrie, of Wellington, , Visitors t& this town for the week-end were Mr"and Airs Stanley Jones, of Wellington, who were staying with Mrs Jones’ father, Mr F. P. Badger, Main street.
