Good Competition at Sydney Wool Sales
Received Tuesday, 11.5 p.m. .SYDNEY, Sept. 24,
At tho wool sales 12,017 bales were offered and 10,196 sold, 1177 privately. There was good competition from Japanese buyers and excellent support from the Continent and Yorkshire on suitable lines. The previous day's rates were fully maintained. Very' burry and dusty wools showed irregularity. Greasy Merino sold to 20d.
