Mr and Mrs ,T. H. Thompson, of Fcilding, arc on a visit to Auckland.
Mrs David Beil and Miss Maisie Bell are back in Fcilding after a brief visit to Wellington.
Mrs. A. E. Pearce with her two daughters, Miss Nan and Miss Vera Pearce, Waituna West, are visiting Auckland.
Mrs F. Dent has returned to her home in Wellington after being the guest of relations at "Kaingara,” Fcilding.
Mrs. Lawrence A. Whelan, eldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. A. E. Pearce, “Konim,” Waituna West, will be a passenger on the .Rangitane. Mr. WJielau is on the staff of the McCauly Institute for soil research, Aberdeen, Scotland.
The friends of Mrs A. E. Sandilands, “Ratanui,” Kiwitea, who was obliged last week to enter'a private hospital bi Palmerston North, will be pleased to Tear a that her condition is much improved. Her soil Howard, who is an inmate of the Fcilding private hospital and is suffering from pneumonia, is also making satisfactory progress towards recovery.
In the Royal Academy examinations conducted in Wellington by Mr Lloyd Powell, Miss Nancy Hau'smann, of Fcilding, was successful - in passing the practical of the L.R.S.AI. for the Velio. Associated with Miss Hausmann as accompanist was Miss Marjorie Garrett, F.T.C.L. Miss liausniann is a pupil of Mr Claude Tanner, the wellknown New Zealand 'cellist.
