The mistress pointed with pride to the eletric range, the geyser, the radiator, tho automatic refrigerator, the vacuum cleaner, the washing machine, tha steam-drying apparatus, tho switchboards, and so on. “Why are you putting on your hat and coat?” said the mistress, interrupting herself in her explanation. “Surely you’re not going?” “I am, ma’am. It’s an engineer you want, not a cook! ”
