Froin Our Own Correspondent. The United footballers held their windup dance last Tuesday and it turned out a great success. Keith Marenzi provided excellent music for both modern and old time dances, extras being supplied by Mrs R. Giles, Misses V. Edge and Joan Perry. Messrs D. Eagle and D. Cooper carried out the duties of M’sC. Winners of the novelty dances were: Monte Carlo, Miss D. Hooper and Mr F. Searanche; lucky first couple waltz, Miss M. Fafeita and Master J. Claridge; lucky spot, Miss M. Searanche and Mr J. Searanche. During tho supper interval Mr R. J, Smith, president of the Bush Rugby Union, presented the trophies to the United captain (Mr D. Cooper) and congratulated the members of the club on their good showing. The trophies were Champion shield and Vincent cup and Cowlam cup. Dancing was then continued until the small hours of the morning.
