Letter mails close at the Chief Post Office as follow: Registered mails one hour before letter mails. Books, packets, parcels and newspapers halt an hour before letter mails.
Tuesday, August 27, at 4.45 p.m. (letters only 8 p.m.): For Great Britain, Ireland and Europe, for correspondence specially addressed “per Hertford”; also all States of South America, via Montevideo, per Hertford, from Auckland. Due London October 14. Thursday, August 29, at 6 am.: Australian States, South Africa and East per Wanganella (from Wellington). Incoming Overseas Mails.
