Y.M.C.A. Community Sing

The second of the series of community sings organised by the committee ot the Y.M.C.A. queen, Miss L. Allsop, will be held on Thursday, from 12-15 p.m. to 1.30 p.m. at the State Theatre. If the crowd that attended last week’s sing is any criterion, the theatre should .bo;crowded out this Thursday. An excellent programme of items <has been arranged by the committee. Miss P. Doherty will, sing one of her popular numbers; Gedson and his Aces will syncopate; Mr. Roy Lester will give a saxophone solo; to mention a few. Mr. J. Eelwyn will keep the ball rolling, while Gedson’s Aces will supply the music. Words of the songs to be sung will be projected on the screen, thus ensuring that, everyone will bo able to exercise their; vocal chords to tho full. Another attraction will be given in the form of i free theatro tickets to occu piers of lucky seats. All tho world and his wife will-be there, so come early to get a seat.
