£200,000 Saved by Air Ministry

ORDERS AS LARGE AS WARTIME Received Tuesday, 9 p.m. LONDON, Aug. 19. The Air Ministry has negotiated with the aircraft manufacturers for a 10 per cent, cut on the purchase price of £2,000,000 worth of aeroplanes which the A- Ministry has decided to buy within the next 18 months, says the Daily Herald. The trade realises that it is to its advantage to cut prices when it is receiving orders as large as any handed out in wartime.
