MILK PRODUCERS’ AGITATION The milk producers of England and Scotland are agitating strongly and persistently for a quota on imported dairy products. At one meeting, Mr S. F. Gosney, secretary of the Creamery Proprietors' Association, spoke of the competition from overseas. He said: Home farmers have to compete with producers in New Zealand “who could not bo receiving more than lid per gallon for milk made into butter. ’ ’ Such loose talk is to be condemned!
