Studio Party

On Saturday evening the Broadway School of Dancing w-as the scene of a jolly party given by- Miss Gwen Gibbs for her past and present ballroom pupils. Incidental music was rendered by Mr. R. Smith, w-lio also entertained tho company w-ith a much appreciated item. During the evening games were played and several competitions held, the winners being: Statue dance, Miss J.- Jacobs and Air. R. Carter; Monte Carlo, Miss It. Boag and Air. It. Duncan; competition, Alisses G. Whitaker and J. Stagpoole. A demonstration of ballroom dancing by- Miss Reid and Air. Osborne, and a tap dance by Aliss AI. Kerr were enjoyed by tho company-. Aliss Gibbs received her guests wearing beige laco with touches of red. She was assisted by Aliss Jean Itcid w-lio wore brown velvot relieved with gold, and Aliss Lorna McAlTer in white angelskin.
