United Pres 3 Associalion.— By Electric Telegraph.—Copyright. CALCUTTA, July 25. The worst colliery disaster ever experienced in India occurred at Giridih as a result of the ignition of liquid oxygen explosives. Thirty-three Were killed and 7G injured. .Ten women are among the dead.

Giridih is about 150 miles northwest of Calcutta, in tho province of Behar, Bengal.
