CONVALESCENT. —This dog is being treated at the S.P.C.A. Blue Cross Hospital, Auckland, for a broken jaw. The mask is made of plaster of paris, in two halves, so that-it may be taken off to allow the patient to be fed and the face to be massaged. He appears to be somewhat dejected about the job.
