Good Demand at London Wool Sales
RUSSIANS AGAIN BUYING United I J ress Association.—By Electric Telegraph.—Copyright. LONDON, July 23. Offerings at the wool' sales to-day were 7975 bales, including 3315 bales K>f New Zealand. About 6077 bales of Australian and New Zealand wools were sold.. Good Home and Continental demand continued, with Russians again buying greasy crossbreds at the highest rates of the sprics. Withdrawals were fewer than they •were earlier in the sales. Late rates were fully maintained. New Zealand greasy crossbred, “Wai•rama Downs,” sold I0)d highest and l 9d average.
