The mid-week Rugby fixture in Lending yesterday between tho local team jlvowhai and St. Pat.’s, of Palmerston North, was abandoned after part of itho first spell had been played. The (weather conditions were most uninviting. Tho Feildiug team was in good (form and had ruu up a score of 23 points to nil when it was decided to (call tho game off.
