£52,000 Loan for Timaru Hospital

BOARD SEEKING AUTHORITY I’er Press Association. TIMARU, Last Night. The South Canterbury Hospital Board to-day decided to seek the authority of the Local Government Loans Board to raise a loan ot' £52,000 for additions and alterations to the Timaru and Waimatc hospitals. It is proposed to spend £40,000 on the erection of a new three-storey patients’ block, a new theatre block containing two theatres and a new three-storey wing of the nurses’ home, 'l'ho proposal for Waimatc is a new operating theatre.
