Breach of Promise Claim Fails
Per Pr£ss Association. NEW PLYMOUTH, Last, Night, Judgment announcing the failure of a claim for £SOO damages for alleged breach of promise to marry was delivered by Mr. Justice Callan to-day. Leah Haughton, of Hawera, sued Gregory Horace Perrett, a Defence Force trainee at Trentham. The hearing was completed on Saturday and judgment was reserved until to-day. The Judge said he accepted the evidence of Perrett denying a promise to marry.
