MRS. E. R. McCOMBS, M.P., who died in tho early hours of Friday morning. She was New Zealand’s first and only woman member of Parliament, having been elected in 1933 at the Lyttelton byelection made necessary by the death of her husband, the late Mr. J. Me Combs.
