Feilding Stock Sale

The New Zealand Farmers’ Co-op. Distributing Co., Ltd., report on the Feilding stock sale:— Prices for fat lambs at Friday’s Feilding sale were well up to late rates for prime lambs, second quality lambs showing a slight easing. The price of fat ewes and fat wethers showed a slight improvement. The storo sheep offered included a number of inferior lines, only good quality stock being in demand. Store lambs sold at late rates.

Fat owes, I.ls 9d to lGs Gd; fat wethers, 21s Gd to 235. Store sheep: 2-th. ewes, r.w. S.D. rams, 22s to 2Ss 6d; 4-yr. ewes, r.w. S.D. rams, 21s to 235; 4 and 5-yr, ewes, r.w. S.D. rams, ,13s Gd to 21s. Evre lambs, 14s, 15s, ISs 3d, las; w.f. lambs, 11s to 14s Gd; b.f. lambs, 12s Gd to 14s; 2-th. wethers, 21s Gd. Fat cattle: Fat cows, £2 10s to £4 10s; fat heifers, £2 10s to £3 Ks; vealers, ISs to 255. Store cattle: 20-months P.A. steers, £4 to £4 10s. Dairy cattle: Springing cows, £2'los, £3, £4 10s; springing heifers, £3, £4, £4 10s.
