iosily Fair to Fine Per Press Association. WELLINGTON, Last Night. The pressure is still low to the cast and south-east of New Zealand. A slight anti-cyclono covers tho north Tasman, whilo tho pressure is falling over eastern Australia, Winds: South-westerly to westerly, strong in a few exposed positions; otherwise light to moderate, veering later to north-westerly about and south of Cook strait. Seas: New Zealand waters, rather rough north of Castlcpoint and Cape Egmont and rough in Fovcaux strait; elsewhere smooth to moderate. Eastern Tasman Sea: Moderate south-westerly to westerly winds, veering to north-westerly iri the southern portion. Seas moderate. Weather: For the most part fair to line. Scattered showers are likely in tho far north and south and on the west coast of the South Island. The night will bo cold, but temperatures becoming gradually milder.
