Laval has formed a Cabinet as follows: — Primo Minister and Minister for Foreign Affairs: M. Laval. Ministers without portfolios: MM. Harriot, Marin and Flandin. Minister for the Interior: M. Paganon. Minister for Justiec: M. Leon B'crard. Minister for Finance: M. Marcel Regnicr. Minister for Marine: M. Pictri. Minister for War: Colonel Fabry. Minister for Education: M. Marcombes. Minister for Commerce: M. Georges Bonnet. Minister for Air: General Denain. Minister for Public Works: M. Laurcnt-Eynac. Minister for Colonics: M. Eollin. Minister for Merchant Marine: M. Roustan. Minister for Labour: M. Frossard. Minister for Pensions: M. Maupoil. Minister for Agriculture: M. Cathala. Minister for Health: M. La Font. Minister for Post and Telegraphs: M. Handel. A surprise appointment is that of M. Regnicr, who assumes the burden of the financial and economic crisis. Probably he was chosen for liis experience as a former rapporteur of the Budget in tho Senate. His only previous Cabinet post was the Ministry of the Interior in M. Flandin’s brief Cabinet. He is a lawyer by profession. The new Government extends from the Radicals, to the Right Group, under M. Marin. Staggering' Efflux of Gold ALL EXPECTATIONS EXCEEDED Received Friday, 7 p.m. LONDON, Juno 6. The Daily Telegraph’s City editor says that the Bank of France return for the week ending May 31 showed a loss of gold totalling £64,000,000, making £145,000,000 since March 29. The latest report is that tne gold efflux exceeds all expectations and cannot represent the legitimate movement of capital.
