Feilding Cycling Club

TO-DAY’S ROAD RACE. This afternoon the Eeilding Amateur Cycling Club will hold a road race twice round the Makino block, a distance of ten miles. The handicaps are as follows: Cocker 1 minute; R. Lamberton 21; Eade 3; J. Lambcrton, Henderson 31; Verry, Connolly 4; Allen 7. The committee has decided to hold a time trail about the second week in August, which will be open to all amateur riders. Roy Lambcrton had hard luck in the big race on Monday, having a puncture half a mile after the start. Jimmie Henderson has proved the most consistent rider in the club, having been placed live times iu live starts. The ping pong table purchased for the club’s gymnasium has proved a big attraction, Jack Lambcrton sen., being Ho. 1 player on the ladder.
