AUSTRALLkN DUTIES United Press Association.—By Electric Telegraph.—Copyright. LONDON, April 30. The Daily Telegraph’s Manchester correspondent states that the new Australian duties on certain cotton goods will operate on May 1 unless there is a last-minute change. The traders are greatly disappointed that a fresh extension of time was not granted till the matter has been discussed with tho Australian Ministers during their coming visit here.
