Becoming Unsettled
Per Press Association. WELLINGTON, Last Night. The pressure is now rising to tho cast of New Zealand and is relatively high to the north, but a depression covers the central and southern portions of tho Tasman yea. Winds: North to west prevailing, light to moderate at first, freshening shortly in and south of (Jock .Strait, backing to southerlies in the rar south by to-morrow evening. Seas (New Zealand waters) : Smooth to moderate, rising later south of Chjpc Egmont. Eastern Tasman Sea: North-westerly winds in central and northern portiCTis and west to south-west in the southern portion. Moderate to strong in force. Seas rather rough.
Weather: Becoming unsettled in western districts from Taranaki southwards and the southern portion of the South Island, with scattered rains; elsewhere fair to fine. Temperatures milder.
