Results of the Bournemouth hardcourt tennis championships include: Men’s Singles.—First round: Austin defeated Tuekcy, 11 —G, G—IS. 6 —2, 6—2; Malfroy defeated R. H. Shayes, 6—o,'6 —4, 6 —o; Stednian defeated D. W. Butler, 6—2, G—4, 6—4.
At Monte Carlo RESULTS OF THE FINALS MONTE CARLO, April 29. The finals of the Monte Carlo lawn tennis tournament resulted: — Men’s Doubles. —Hines and Culley defeated Hopman and Bernard, 2—G, B—6, 7—5, 2—6, G—4. Mixed Doubles.—Hopman and Mile. Mathicu defeated Ilincs and Mile. Belliard, 6—l, 6 —4. In a semi-final of the men’s singles, McGrath defeated Quist, 7 —5 4 —G, C—2.
Perry at Bournemouth LONDON, April 29. At the Bournemouth hard-court tennis tournament, Fred Perry defeated J. D. Morris, 6 —l, G—3, 6 —l.
