With Miniature Rifles
ANNUAL MEETING OF MANAWATU ASSOCIATION
Tho annual meeting of delegates of the Manawatu Mniature Riflo Association was held in Awaliuri Memorial Ball last Saturday night, when'Mr A. K. Drew, Sanson, presided. The clubs represented wore; Levin, Bull's, Sanson, Aolcautero, Awahuri, Qroua Downs and Longburn. The election of o(licers resulted as follows: President, Mr A. K. Drew, Sanson; deputy-president, Mr J. Simpson, Oliakea; secretary, Mr W. Jenkins, Sanson; executive committee, Messrs A. K. Drew, J. Simpson, "W Jenkins, L. Hastings (Aokautere), Mills (Oroua Downs), T. Pritchard (Bulls), and Birch (Longburn).
It was decided that the Jones shield and the Coliinson and Son shield should be competed for at Sanson and at Longburn. A unanimous resolution was passed regarding the championship shoot, which is open to three grades. It is to be competed for at Longburn. Tho election of an ollieial range officer resulted in the appointment of Mr ; J. Milligan. It was a,lso decided that advice be asked of the New Zealand Miniature Rifle Association concerning conditions and regulations governing the Empire Championship competition.
