FOR MANUFACTURING A GALE, —The Marquess of Londonderry, Secretary for Air (speaking on right), inaugurating the new 24ft wind tunnel at the Royal Aircraft Establishment, at Farnborough, Hants. It is the largest wind tunnel-in England, and is to be used for testing aeroplanes for strains and stresses without the risks attendant upon actual flight.
