Franco-Soviet Pact
AUTOMATIC MILITARY ACTION ABANDONED. United Press Association.—By Electric Telegraph.—Copyright. LONDON, April 28. The United Press, Paris correspondent says that M. Laval has obtained a modification of the draft of the Franco Soviet Pact, by which automatic military action has been abandoned in favour of consulation in the event of action by an aggressor, which will thus bring it within the principles of the League Government. Tho pact only awaits initialling.
