As a sequel to an incident in Covent Garden Opera House last season, when Sir Thomas Beccham shouted, “stop talking!” an innovation is announced for the season, opening on Monday. The doors will be locked before the preludes to “Lohengrin and Tristan” begin and no one will be admitted while the first act is in progress.
