Citizenship an Honour

Disfranchisement of Jews and Non-Aryans

REORGANISATION OF THE

REICH

United Press Association. — By Electric Telegraph.—Copyright. Received Sunday, 7 p.m.

BERLIN, Asril 27,

Under a forthcoming German citizenship law, Jews and non-Aryans will be ineligible and not be permitted to vote or servo in the army, said Herr Frick, foreshadowing the provisions of the measure, which is one of a scries the Nazis are introducing for the reorganisation of the Reich.

Ho added: “It won’t in future be sufficient to be borne a German or become a naturalised German. On the contrary, citizenship will be a sublime honour, which can be acquired only by serving the people of the country. Citizenship will be solemnly bestowed, including the oath of allegiance to the Reich and its leaders. Those unworthy will be deprived of citizenship.” Herr Frick issued a decree prohibiting Jews from displaying German flays, especially the swastika. He says that such displays in Jewish business and private houses have repeatedly led to disturbances.

Parallel With Joan of Arc MAID OF ORLEANS AT HEART A NAZI Received Sunday, 7 p.m. BERLIN, April 27. Joan of Arc was at heart a Nazi, according to a German film tracing the life of the Maid of Orleans, deriving therefrom justification of Nazism and emphasising that Joan, like Hitler, saved the people from despair through inspiration, as the duty of everyone to defend the country against foreigners and crush enemies within the nation.
