Animal Terrorises Indian Peasants
BABIES CARRIED INTO JUNGLE United Press Association.-—By Electric. Telegraph.—Copyrigh t. Received Tuesday, 7 p.m. CALCUTTA, April 8. Peasants in the northern portion of the Chainparan district, in Bihar Province, are being terrorised by a strange black animal, described as lialf-wolf and half-jackal, which seized and carried into the jungle two babies sleeping in a hut and also mauled a man, who escaped.
