Fire at Colyton
RESIDENCE DESTROYED The residence of Mr. T. S. Ashworth, of Colyton, was totally destroyed by fire yesterday afternoon. Flames were first noticed in the rear portion of the building but they spread so quickly that no time was given to save any of the contents. The result is that Mr. Ashworth is a heavy loser though insurances, details of which are not available, cover a portion of the loss. It is fortunate that no wind was blowing at the time otherwise adjoining buildings would most certainly have been destroyed ns well.
