United Press Association.—By Electric Telegraph.—Copyrigh t. Received Wednesday, 7 p.m. LONDON, March 19.

The News-Chronicle ' says that Viscount Hastings, whc travelled steorage to Australia after leaving Oxford in 1925, arrived in London from America .with a new method of lightning portrait painting, involving the spraying of a wall with motor paint from a gun. He practised the process when decorating Chicago’s new Hall of Science, after perfecting the technique over a period of ten years.
