Last week a tennis match was played on tho Y.M.C.A. courts between a combined team, Y.M.C.A.-Baptists, and St. Paul's. Tho former won by 11 sets to 5; SS games to 75. In the following details members of the combined team are named first.

Men’s singles: Wilby beat Claridge 7 —2, Smith beat Maynard 7 —2, Rush lost to Thompson 3 —7, Seward beat Ferry 7 —5. Ladies’ singles: Miss Rush lost to Miss Hastings 2—7, Miss Thompson lost to Mrs Claridge I—7, Miss Wilby beat Miss Cameron 7 —2, Miss Grover lost to Miss Clark 2—7. Men’s doubles: Wilby and Smith beat Thompson and Claridge 7 —5, Rush and Seward beat Maynard and Verry 7 —G. Ladies’ doubles: Misses Rush and Thompson lost to Miss Hastings and Mrs Claridge 3—7, Misses Wilby and Grover boat Misses C-ameron and Clark 7—o.
