RELIEF STRIKE PLANNED AT, ROTORUA Per Press Association. ROTORUA, March IS. Twentyfour of twentysix men sclect- - ed to begin rvork at the Rotorua aerodrome refused to undertake work on the terms laid down by tho Unemployment Board, when they reported this morning. Subsequently a meeting of relief workers was held, at which about 40 were present, when it was decided to call a general strike on all relief work in the borough. A demonstration has been arranged for to-morrow morning and it has also been decided to picket other jobs if necessary, in order to eompell all workers to join the strike. The men contend that it is impossible to earn the ordinary relief rates of wages paid for work on the aerodrome.
