In connection with the suggestion to the Lawn Tennis Federation regarding footfault, it is now learned that M. Sabelli’s proposal was not a line behind the baseline, but the introduction of lines a yard apart down the centre court with a view to lessening the service court, while I lie server would be permitted to swing his foot in the air over the line.
