An order for a writ of habeas corpus was made by Mr. Justice Blair in the .Supremo Court at Wellington in the case of Madge Munro, in respect of whom an extradition order was made by Mr. E. Page, S.M. She was arrested on a charge of stealing share scrip and was to be taken to Sydney. His Honour found that accused had never been apprehended under a backed warrant and it followed that a writ of habeas corpus must issue. Next Tuesday, in the Commerce Building, Broadway, the annual meeting of the Manawatu Table Tennis Association will be held.
