Not Likely to be Accepted

CABINET AND MR. LLOYD GEORGE’S “NEW DEAL’

United Press Association.—By Electric Telegraph.—Copyright. Received Tuesday, 7 p.m. LONDON, March 18. The News-Chronicle’s political correspondent says that Mr. Lloyd George’s “New Deal” proposals will be examined by a committee consisting of Mr. MacDonald, Mr. Thomas, Mr. Runciman and Mr. Nbville Chamberlain. Since all these have publicly rejected Mr. Lloyd George’s policy, the Government is not likely to accept the implications thereof and will probably try to show its own plans to meet the situation.
