Complete Union of South African States
AGREEMENT ON PRINCIPLE. United Press Association.—By Electric Telegraph.—Copyright. CAPE TOWN, March IS. British settlers in Kenya and Tanganyika, at an unofficial conference at Nairobi, agreed to the principle of complete union. They hoped Uganda would also join. The delegates felt that the multiplication of govcrnmryit machinery overburdened the territories.
The Imperial Government was requested to appoint statesmen to initiate negotiations on the spot.
