The Raumai Golf Club held its official opening during tiro week-end under very pleasant weather conditions. A large crow-d of golfers was present and an enjoyable afternoon was spent in playing mixed foursomes. Considerable improvements have been carried out upon, the links since the formation of the club, the most notable of which is tiie erection of a modern and spacious club-house, which should fulfil tho club's requirements for a number of years. The fairways and greens have received a good deal of attention and are In excellent order. Members are looking forward keenly to a very enjoyable season.
