The new First National production, ‘ ‘Happiness. Ahead, ” “ glorifies” one of the few unsung heroes of modem life—the window-washer.
This, of course, is incidental to the romantic thread of the story, but lias much to do with the romance. Washing dangerously high windows of 00 and 70-story skyscrapers is no small problem. It is simply one of those things taken as a matter of course. In “I-lappines Ahead” theso daring mop-and-pail performers not only do their usual stunts, but also engage in hair-raising fights with deadly enemies. Dick Powell as the bravo young win-dow-washer and Josephine Hutchinson as tho beautiful causo of his heartthrobs are leading figures in this unusual romance of the big city.
