On his first trial over a fairly smooth course Sir Malcolm Campbell found several imperfections in tho Bluebird after covering an eight-milo run, the speed indicator not working properly and the clutch slipping. The speed was slightly more than 100 miles per hour. No time is fixed for tho attempt at a record run.
