Stock Breeding in Russia
GREAT IMPROVEMENT DURING LAST' THREE YEARS. United Press Association. —By Electric Telegraph.—Copyright. * MOSCOW, February 4. M. Chernov, Agricultural Commissar, reports a great improvement in stock breeding. The number of cattle on January Ist, 1935, increased 31 per cent, as compared with January Ist, 1932; hogs, 118 per cent; sheep and goats, 11 per cent. The Government plans for provision for 70,000 ne r collective cattle breeding farms in 1935.
